About this course:
Founded in 1894, Portstewart Golf Club is home to three true links courses on the coast of Northern Ireland: the Championship Strand Course, the Riverside Course and the Old Course. The Strand, designed by Willie Park Jr and Des Giffin, is a memorable 18-hole, par-71 links shaped by undulating dunes, rolling fairways, run-off bunkers and tightly kept greens, with the Atlantic never far away. It offers a demanding test of shotmaking alongside striking coastal views.
The Riverside Course follows the River Bann and provides a more relaxed round, while the Old Course pairs a rocky shoreline front nine with an inland back nine. A modern clubhouse, built in 2009, is complemented by a pro shop, swing room, practice nets, putting greens and chipping areas, making Portstewart well equipped for links golf.
