These Terms of Service apply to your use of ThatGolfApp, including our website, application, golf course database, scoring features, community contributions, and other platform components. By using ThatGolfApp, you agree to these terms.

ThatGolfApp provides information regarding golf courses, facilities, holes, tees, scorecards, tips, photos, weather information, and other golf-related data. Some of this information is derived from public sources, some is curated by us, and some is supplied, verified, or improved by the community.

We strive to keep this information current, complete, and reliable. However, information may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misinterpreted. Always verify critical information—such as opening hours, facility availability, rates, course status, booking conditions, and safety instructions—directly with the golf course.

You may contribute content, such as corrections, scorecard data, information about facilities, tips, photos, comments, or other materials. Please only provide information you reasonably believe to be accurate and that you have the right to share.

By submitting a contribution, you grant ThatGolfApp a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, publish, store, copy, edit, translate, combine with other data, analyze, and display said contribution within our app, website, datasets, communications, and marketing materials.

You will not receive any compensation, royalty, revenue share, or other payment for contributions unless otherwise agreed upon in writing beforehand. A contribution does not obligate ThatGolfApp to publish, maintain, or process it in any specific manner.

Only upload photos, text, and other content that you created yourself or for which you have sufficient permission. You warrant that your contribution does not infringe upon the rights of others, including copyright, portrait rights, privacy rights, trademark rights, or ownership rights.

Do not upload photos in which persons are identifiable without their consent. Furthermore, do not upload content that is misleading, offensive, discriminatory, unsafe, commercial spam, or unlawful. We reserve the right to refuse, edit, crop, hide, or remove contributions at our discretion.

Use ThatGolfApp in a reasonable, careful, and respectful manner. You may not use the app to cause harm to the platform, other users, golf courses, or third parties. You may not bypass security, systematically collect large volumes of data (scraping), submit misleading contributions, or attempt to disrupt the operation of the app.

We strive to maintain the best possible golf course database, but we do not guarantee that information will always be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a specific purpose. This applies to all information regarding facilities such as driving ranges, practice greens, buggy rentals, dining, opening hours, course lengths, tee information, stroke indexes, route layouts, accessibility, and other details.

If you notice an error, we appreciate you submitting a correction or update. This helps make ThatGolfApp better for everyone.

ThatGolfApp is not liable for damages resulting from the use of the app or reliance on information contained within the app. This includes, but is not limited to, direct damages, indirect damages, consequential damages, loss of profit, loss of customers, missed reservations, reputational damage, loss of goodwill, or other business or personal losses.

A golf course, operator, or other third party cannot claim compensation on the grounds that information in ThatGolfApp was inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. For example: if our app states that a course does not have a driving range when one exists, we are not responsible for any visitors, revenue, or opportunities the course believes it has missed.

ThatGolfApp may display weather data, map information, location data, photos, links, or information from external services. This data may differ from the reality at the course. Local conditions, maintenance, temporary closures, wind gusts, trees, elevation changes, and other factors may influence your experience.

We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of external services or websites referred to by ThatGolfApp.

We may process contributions and usage signals into aggregated, statistical, or derived information, such as quality labels, popularity signals, facility summaries, correction history, or data quality scores. To the extent that this information is not personally identifiable, ThatGolfApp may continue to use and publish it.

Do you believe information is incorrect, that content violates your rights, or that a photo or contribution should be removed? Please contact us at hello@thatgolfapp.com and specify as clearly as possible which golf course, page, photo, or contribution is involved and why you are objecting.

We may update these terms as the app, legislation, or our operational methods evolve. The latest version will always be available in the app or on our website. By continuing to use ThatGolfApp after the terms have been amended, you agree to the new terms from that point forward.
