Andalusia extends from the Atlantic coast to the Mediterranean and inland mountain ranges, giving golfers varied settings for a single trip. Coastal areas around Málaga and Cádiz are established bases for resort-style stays, with accommodation and dining close to many playing options. Seville, Granada and the interior offer a different rhythm, combining golf with historic cities, rural landscapes and longer drives between venues. The wide geography makes it sensible to choose one or two areas rather than trying to cover the whole region in a short break. Golf is possible for much of the year, though conditions differ by location. Spring and autumn usually bring the most comfortable weather for walking; summer heat is more intense inland, and early tee times are often preferable. Winter is generally milder on the Mediterranean coast, but rain, wind and cooler periods can affect plans. Málaga is a practical international gateway for much of the southern coast, while Seville and Jerez can suit western or inland itineraries. A rental car is normally the easiest way to connect accommodation, courses and towns, especially away from the main coastal corridors. Booking tee times and transport in advance is prudent during busy holiday periods.
