About this course:
Royal Portrush Golf Club’s Valley Course is a full-length 18-hole championship layout set in the sheltered landscape of War Hollow on natural seaside turf. This stern test rewards accuracy throughout, with small, cleverly positioned greens and natural hazards that punish any wayward approach. Dog-legs, valley carries, bunkers and sand dunes combine to create a demanding round in a distinctive coastal setting.
Rich in sporting heritage, The Valley is believed to be linked to an ancient battle around 1102. It has also served as a training ground for Ryder Cup winner Graeme McDowell and hosts one of the two qualifying rounds for the North of Ireland Open Championship each year.
