About this course:
Monmouth Golf Course is an 18-hole parkland course with par 69, located in the hills just outside Monmouth on the edge of the River Wye. The course lies in a rolling landscape with views of the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean, where the natural surroundings add character to the game. The design demands accuracy and tactics, featuring elevated tees, plateau greens, and multiple water and bunker elements providing variety from hole to hole. Established in 1896 as an alternative to Vauxhall Golf Club, the course developed from 1920 into a full 18-hole course, opened in 1992 and later expanded with additional land. The charming clubhouse and welcoming reception have made Monmouth Golf a favorite among golf societies for many years.
