About this course:
Clandeboye Golf Club’s The Dufferin is a championship heathland course by Baron Von Limburger, laid out over 18 holes and measuring 6,550 yards. Originally shaped from the first nine holes north of the clubhouse and later expanded, it offers a stern but rewarding test where accuracy matters from the start. Masses of gorse and bracken, together with strategically placed trees on every hole, demand thoughtful shot-making, while the undulating terrain gives the course a strong sense of space.
Water comes into play on only one hole, but the setting is far from understated. An elevated first tee opens to sweeping seascape views, with a prevailing north-east wind often sweeping in across Belfast Lough on The Dufferin. Across the water, the Scottish mountains add to the dramatic backdrop, making this a memorable round of golf.
