About this course:
Alston Moor Golf Course is a challenging 18-hole course at 1476 ft, set in parkland, high meadow, and pasture in the North Pennines AONB. Steep slopes, winding directions, and elevation changes from 18 tees create a varied round where control is key. The course uses natural hazards on every hole, emphasizing its hilly character. Founded in 1905, the club has a rich history with relocations and expansions, thriving between 1924 and WWII. The 18-hole round is central today, with a 17th-century clubhouse for gatherings, completing the unique North Pennines setting.
