About this course:
Allendale Golf Club is a 9-hole course in Allen Valley, along the East Allen River, nestled among the hills of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Located near Green Hill, it offers a varied, hilly setting with wide views over the quiet landscape. From the west-facing clubhouse at about 1077 feet above sea level, you overlook an environment where sheep graze on the fells and the call of the curlew defines the course's character. With 16 tee boxes, Allendale demands thoughtful play on the back nine as well. Hole 17, “Grand Canyon,” is a challenging crossing, while the par-3s, including holes 2, 3, 11, and 12, play distinctly differently before and after each other. The club is community-driven and known for “Golf in the Wild,” along with regular junior competitions and tuition sessions.
