About this course:
Wearside Golf Club is one of the oldest parkland courses in northeast England. Located south of the River Wear, between Sunderland and Washington, it offers beautiful landscape views and lies in the shadow of the Penshaw Monument. The 18 holes are split into an Outward Nine and Inward Nine, starting with a par 3 and finishing with a par 5. Wearside demands strategy and focus, highlighted by hole 7: a water-protected 160-yard par 3. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, featuring a clubhouse with lounge and dining room, plus a social club café. For further development, group lessons with a professional and an active junior section with weekly meetings and competitions are available.
