Walmersley Golf Club is a modern, welcoming club with over a century of history. The 18-hole moorland course offers wide views and a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere focused on smart course management. With a par 71 and length of 5801 yards, the course gains character when the wind rises. Hills, elevation changes, and moorland views alternate with strategic hazards like water, lakes, bunkers, and out of bounds. The opening hole is a rare par 3 with water on the right, while Gipsy Brook stands out as the signature hole: a par 3 over water to an elevated green. Hole 17 impresses with a downhill approach to the clubhouse, a hidden ditch, and a sloped green.
