About this course:
Thetford Golf Club is a classic James Braid course with heathland and woodland character. Located in Breckland, the course winds through pine, oak, and birch trees, with heather, gorse, and broom providing a beautiful and challenging layout. The par-72 course measures 6,849 yards and has a slope rating of 134 from the back tees, making it both accessible and demanding. Thanks to its free-draining soil, the course often plays firm and dry and is open almost year-round. The rich history of Thetford Golf Club is linked to James Braid, Philip Mackenzie Ross, and Charles Mayo, with a design legacy over 100 years old. Near the clubhouse are two putting greens and a chipping green to prepare well before your round.
