Inverness Ave 200, 33617 Inverness Ave
Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club is a classic 18-hole par 72 course in Temple Terrace, just east of Tampa. Designed by golf architect Tom Bendelow, built in 1921 and opened in 1922. The course features a distinctive figure-8 layout winding through orange groves and a growing residential area. Bendelow gave the course a unique signature with special sightlines: many holes have no parallel fairways or roads on both sides, allowing good visibility of play. The club also has a charming historic clubhouse and has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 2012, the only 18-hole course in Florida with this recognition.
