Sydney R. Marovitz Golf Course is a nine-hole course by Lake Michigan, between Lake Shore Drive and the lake shore. Opened in 1932 as Waveland Golf Course, renamed in 1991. All holes run parallel to the lake with wide views of water, harbors, and Chicago skyline. Designed by Edward B. Dearie, Jr., featuring mature trees, challenging bunkers, and well-kept greens. Offers a relaxed local vibe with a snack bar, Clock Tower restaurant, and bar overlooking the 9th green. Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary certified.
