Southport Municipal Golf Course, also known as Southport Golf Links, is a classic 18-hole course with a rich history. Established in 1912 as a 9-hole course on reclaimed land along the Irish Sea, it expanded to 18 holes in the 1930s. Designed by Harry Shapland Colt, a leading golf course architect of his era. Its coastal location and distinct links character demand precise play, especially in changing weather, offering golfers a varied and challenging round with a strong traditional feel.
