Shandon Park Golf Course is a parkland course in the green suburbs of East Belfast, close to the city center. The Championship Course has 18 holes, par 70, offering a challenging, rhythmic layout with beautifully shaped holes. Golfers enjoy views of the city and Stormont Estate during the round, adding character to the course. From the white tees, it plays up to about 6,280 yards, with a club record of 6 under par. Founded in 1926, Shandon Park Golf Club has a rich history, starting with a nine-hole layout in 1898 and a full 18-hole design from 1936. The club has hosted events like the Blaxnit Championship, Gallaher Ulster Open, All Ireland Finals, Ladies British Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship, and World Police and Fire Games. The 19th hole features a modern clubhouse from 2000 with a lounge, bar, and restaurant overlooking the course.
