About this course:

Royal Dornoch Golf Club is a historic links in the Highlands, where golf has been played on the Dornoch links since 1616 and the club was founded in 1877. Old Tom Morris extended the layout from nine to 18 holes in 1886, shaping a Championship Course that still offers a timeless links challenge along the north shore of the Dornoch Firth. With natural tiered linksland, shimmering water, gorse-clad slopes and a windswept sandy beach backdrop, it rewards accurate shot-making and thoughtful course management. The par-70 Championship Course measures 7,199 yards. Royal Dornoch also has the par-71 Struie Course, a 6,205-yard links often called "The Low Course." Designed as a complement to the Championship Course, it winds around the Dornoch Burn and offers fine views toward Dornoch Point and beyond the Firth. The club’s championship heritage includes the Carnegie Shield and generations of major-golf greats who have made the pilgrimage to Dornoch.
