Brora Golf Club cover

About this course:

Brora Golf Club is an original James Braid design, founded in 1891, and one of Scotland’s most characterful links courses. The 18-hole layout unfolds over 194 acres of coastal ground, where bent grass, beach sand, burn water, gorse and natural contours create a test that rewards sound judgement and steady ball control from the opening tee onward. Running alongside Kintradwell Bay on the outward nine and croft land on the inward half, Brora offers a varied and scenic round with views toward the Sutherland foothills. Hilly terrain shapes the challenge throughout, with the railway feature coming into play from the tenth tee, the sea-facing 13th known as “Snake,” and a memorable, bunkered finish at the 18th.
