About this course:
Rhondda Golf Club offers an 18-hole, par 70 course of about 6,000 yards, set high above the Rhondda Valley with panoramic views to the Bristol Channel. The course blends rugged mountain terrain with a challenging yet not overly hilly layout. Established in 1910, it began as a 9-hole course at Gelli Farm, officially opening its pavilion and links in Tonypandy on June 9, 1910. Architect JF Abercrombie designed the full 18-hole course, with construction starting in 1911.
