About this course:
Preston Golf Club is a welcoming 18-hole, par-71 course set in tranquil parkland on the north side of Preston, across 120 acres. Its 6,278-yard layout reflects the influence of James Braid, Harry Vardon, Alister MacKenzie and Sandy Herd, and offers a varied round with tree-lined fairways, a meandering stream and scenic views. Elevated tees look across a central dip, while flat stretches and gentle rises keep the course inviting yet engaging.
Accuracy is rewarded throughout, with bunkers, banks and water hazards shaping several holes. Founded in 1892, Preston Golf Club combines a course rich in heritage with a clubhouse full of character, along with practice facilities and a history shaped by memorable matches and visits from notable players.
