About this course:

Powerscourt Golf Club’s West Course is a David McLay Kidd design that opened in 2003 and unfolds across a 1,000-acre estate. Hedges, mature trees, ravines and streams shape the round, while views of the Wicklow Mountains give the course a striking setting. The layout moves gently through the landscape, but it still asks for precise ball-striking and thoughtful shot selection. Strategically placed bunkers and water add to the challenge, and the contoured, undulating greens demand careful attention on approach. Coaching is also part of the experience at the club, with PGA specialist Paul Thompson available to help golfers refine all aspects of their game.
