Powerscourt Estate, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, A98 K376, Ierland
Set on the Powerscourt Estate, Powerscourt Golf Club offers 36 holes across two championship courses in a mature, historic parkland setting. The East Course combines par 3s and par 5s with ten par 4s, including downhill par 3s, a memorable 16th hole played over water, and a strong closing stretch that finishes with a dramatic view from the 18th tee. Designed by David McLay Kidd, the West Course provides a different challenge, with large, strongly contoured greens, big bunkers, quick slopes and demanding short game shots. The routing builds to a memorable finish from the 16th onward. Since opening in 1995, the club has also been a notable tournament venue, hosting the 1998 Irish PGA, won by Padraig Harrington in a playoff, and the 2001 Irish Seniors Open.
