About this course:
Portal Golf and Country Club Premier Course is an 18-hole championship golf course in Tarporley, Cheshire. Designed by Tim Rouse, it evolved from Oaklands Golf Club, opened in 1990, and later developed with Arderne PLC into the current Premier Course. The course plays to par 71 over 9 out and 9 in holes from Premier White and Yellow tees, with multiple tee options for all skill levels, including Red and Orange for men and women. Set in a natural environment with beautiful views, it requires smart positioning. Elevation changes, steep descents to greens, OB, and bunkers within driving distance make each round challenging and varied. The club offers a welcoming atmosphere with buggy, trolley, and club hire available.
