About this course:
Pinehurst No. 4 is a Carolina-centric golf course designed by Gil Hanse and shaped in the timeless tradition of the North Carolina Sandhills. Originally opened in 1919 and redesigned in 2018, it offers 18 holes, par 72, with rolling topography, sandy waste areas, and sweeping views from tee to green. The course’s natural feel and strategic layout reward thoughtful shotmaking, while its strong championship character has also drawn major attention.
After the redesign, Pinehurst No. 4 was voted Best New Course and named a Top 100 Course. It was also selected to host the 2019 U.S. Amateur, underlining its place among notable modern championship tests.
