Omagh Golf Club evolved from a challenging nine-hole course designed by G.L. Bailie in 1910 to a full 18-hole course completed in 1983. Under pro and architect Don Patterson, it gained a modern look. It's a parkland course rewarding precision and smart play, with a par 71 featuring tough par fours and fast, sloping greens. The landscape shapes the experience, with the Drumragh River prominent on front holes and strategic bunker choices mid-course. The back nine ends with views over Omagh and a final attractive par four along the woods. A major 2000 drainage upgrade ensures year-round playability, reflected in the Winter League and regular society games in January and February.
