Founded in 1905, it evolved from a 9-hole layout at Fern Bay to an 18-hole design by Eric Apperly, preserving seven original holes. The course retains a playful character and a reputation as a tough test of golf, demanding accuracy and focus. Highlights include hole 5, a 368m par 4 with a dogleg left, and challenging greens.
