Machrie Bay, GB
Machrie Bay Golf Course is a charming 9-hole seaside course on the west coast of Isle of Arran, Scotland. Designed by Willie Fernie and established in 1900, it has undergone changes including a new 1st hole in 2015 after the sea affected the original, and a 3rd hole update in 2005. The historic club is linked to Machrie Hall, opened in 1934 and upgraded in 2005. Walter Hagen and Joe Kirkwood Sr. visited in 1937. Seasonal tearoom, putting green, and tennis court complete the characterful setting with views of Kilbrannan Sound and Kintyre peninsula.
