The club dates back to the first golf ball hit in the Leeds district at Roundhay and took its current form in 1896 with the club's founding. A notable chapter is Dr. Alastair MacKenzie's involvement between 1900 and 1910, advising on bunkers and course layout, shaping the club's character. Today, you play in a club environment with a strong competitive element. Breakfast and lunch are served in the clubhouse, while practical playing conditions apply on the course, such as preferred lies on fairways, fairway mats, and temporary greens.
