About this course:
Holywell Golf Course, also known as Holywell Golf Club, is located on Brynford Common, high on a plateau about 800 feet above sea level. The 18-hole inland links course offers a sporty yet accessible challenge for golfers of all levels. Thanks to its compact layout, natural hazards, and firm ground with soft turf and limestone-rich soil, the course plays varied and lively, while the wind can add extra challenge. The location also provides stunning views over the Clwydian Range and Snowdonia. Founded in 1906, the club developed into the current 18-hole course. The landscape features old limestone quarries and historic limekilns, giving the course much character. Especially hole 15, The Quarry, highlights this heritage and gives Holywell Golf Course a unique identity.
