Haggerston Castle Golf Course is a mature 9-hole course in Northumberland, set within the grounds of Haggerston Castle near Berwick upon Tweed. Water comes into play on six holes, adding a scenic but testing element to a round that rewards accuracy on tight fairways and around protected greens. The course offers two tee sets: the red tees are ideal for beginners and play all Par 3s, while the white tees provide a more advanced layout with five Par 4s.
A standout hole is the sixth, where the green sits "Sawgrass Style" into the lake. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, suited to juniors, beginners and more accomplished golfers alike, and a round takes about 1.5 hours.
