About this course:
Great Yarmouth and Caister Golf Club, founded in 1882, is located on the Norfolk coast in East Anglia, along wide stretches of golden sandy beaches. The course has the character of a classic links course, with rolling fairways, low dunes, and wooden sleeper bunkers guiding you towards carefully mown greens. Its location next to the nearby horse racing circuit adds a unique atmosphere to the game. The club features an 18-hole course and welcomes members and visitors year-round. The design demands creativity and thoughtful strategy, especially for golfers who enjoy playing with wind and terrain. Historically, the club has hosted events such as the Women’s British Amateur in 1898, the Great Yarmouth Challenge Badge since 1894, and the Norfolk Professional Championship in 1951.
