About this course:
Gorleston Golf Club sits spectacularly on cliffs above the North Sea and is the UK's easternmost golf course. This 18-hole par 71 course blends parkland character with a challenging layout featuring gently rolling terrain, sea breeze, and small, fast greens demanding precise irons and thoughtful play. The holes vary greatly, including a signature hole with a narrow opening toward the cliff edge and distances that feel different daily due to wind and shelter. Established in 1906, the club grew from a nine-hole course to a full 18 holes. After your round, the clubhouse offers a pleasant spot overlooking the course, with a bar, terrace, and dining options in the lounge or on the terrace.
