About this course:
Golf course De Woeste Kop is an 18-hole, A-status course in the Smitsschorre nature area near Axel in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Set between creeks and woods and framed by Zeeland polders, dikes and poplars, it offers a distinctive mix of open views and natural boundaries. The layout is designed for strategy, with sometimes narrow fairways, well-placed bunkers, water hazards and doglegs that make every round demanding yet rewarding.
Since its beginnings in 1983 at De Braakman, Golfvereniging De Woeste Kop has grown into its current location. The course is GEO-certified for sustainable management, with ongoing improvements planned together with architect Bruno Steensels. Practice facilities are extensive, supported by two golf pros and an on-site golf academy, while Restaurant The Loft completes the clubhouse experience.
