About this course:

Forest Dunes Golf Club in northern Michigan, set within the Huron National Forest, is an 18-hole course designed by Tom Weiskopf. It offers two distinct nines: the front nine winds through dense parkland with red and jack pines, while the back nine brings in the rugged character of exposed native sand and dune areas. With demanding risk-reward holes, including a par-3 of more than 200 yards and a par-5 stretching beyond 560 yards, the course asks golfers to stay precise from start to finish. Beyond the main layout, Forest Dunes adds plenty of variety. Golfers can practice at the training facility and on the Hilltop putting course, while Bootlegger provides a 10-hole par-3 short course of 1,100 yards, with holes ranging from 50 to 140 yards.
