Ferndown Golf Club, founded in 1913, features a tranquil 27-hole heathland course with two 18-hole courses, the Old Course and the Alliss Course, both gently rolling and pleasant to walk. Well-maintained fairways and greens, subtle hazards, and well-placed bunkers demand precise play. The Old Course's serene atmosphere adds character, and meticulous care from tee to green has earned Ferndown a strong reputation. The club has hosted tournaments like the Hennessy Cognac Cup and the Women’s British Open. Practice facilities include a 250-yard driving range, a practice net, two putting greens, and a short game area with 15 practice stations.
