Dunkeld and Birnam Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Highland Perthshire, set on a hill above historic Dunkeld. Founded in 1892, the original course was designed by Old Tom Morris; the current layout was officially opened in 1922 by The Duchess of Atholl. The course features a distinct heathland and hilly character, with undulating fairways and strategic play. Undulating terrain, risk-and-reward moments, and hazards like marshes, burns, and bunkers often influence golfers' choices. With a par of 68 and about 5,511 yards, it offers a challenging round amid impressive scenery and wide views over Dunkeld and surroundings.
