About this course:
Denstone College Golf Club offers an exclusive 9-hole course set within the grounds of Denstone College. Although relatively short, the layout asks for precision throughout, with narrow fairways and small greens that reward accurate play. The course combines 5 par fours and 4 par threes, creating a varied round with both scoring opportunities and tactical decisions.
Its standout hole is the 207-yard 4th, a tree-lined par 3 from the tee with out of bounds down the left and Nab Brook plus the old swimming pool along the right edge. The club also runs a full competition programme through the year, including 18-hole competitions on most Sundays during the Lent and Summer terms, a Winter League on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evening roll-ups, and 9-hole events with prizes in the village tavern.
