About this course:
Ashbourne Golf Club, Derbyshire's oldest, lies south of Ashbourne near the town center. The current 18-hole course, designed by David Hemstock and opened in 1999, is par 71 for men and par 72 for women. It offers a varied round over rolling terrain with doglegs, water hazards, and elevated sections giving each hole unique character. The well-drained design allows play in many weather conditions, providing a pleasant, fair challenge for golfers of all levels. The course offers wide views toward Dovedale and the Peak District. Practice facilities include four covered bays, a chipping area, and a putting green by the clubhouse. Founded in 1886, Ashbourne has hosted events like the DUGC Boys Championship, DLCGA County Foursomes, and 4BBB competitions.
