Cedarwood Country Club is a traditional 18-hole course designed by Ellis Maples. It features rolling terrain with deciduous trees, cedars, and beautiful ponds, stretching nearly 7,000 yards from the Black Tees. With lush Bermuda fairways and TifEagle Ultradwarf Bermuda greens, the design demands precise shots, especially due to pronounced undulations and continuous risk-reward character. The course offers a challenging yet varied round for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Built in 1964, Cedarwood hosted an 18-hole exhibition shortly after opening with Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, and Bob Charles. Over the years, the club invested in the course, including extensive restoration of greens complexes and bunkers, and later improvements to putting surfaces and bunkers. Cedarwood also hosted tournaments and qualifiers, including for the Wachovia Championship and national amateurs and juniors.
