Carmel Country Club is a private golf club with a history dating back to 1947. The golf course opened in 1950 and was early on known for its beautiful appearance, with rolling hills and rocks in the rough that provide a challenging round. Later, the course expanded with 18 additional holes and the South Course, designed by Ellis Maples and later redesigned by Rees Jones. As a club with two championship courses, Carmel Country Club offers a varied golf experience in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The clubhouse and family experience enhance the club's character, while the practice facilities and extensive practice opportunities at the North Course contribute to a complete golf day.
