Brierley Forest Golf Club, founded in 1993, is located on Nottinghamshire's northern edge, bordering Derbyshire. The course features wide views over hills and fields, visible up to Hardwick Hall, giving each round a strong scenic character. The club moved in March 2013 to the historic White Lion Pub at the lane's end, where the clubhouse offers a relaxed atmosphere and live sports. Brierley Forest hosts various open competitions, including multiple Open Competitions and team formats, achieving 'Champions' success in 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 within the Nottinghamshire Professional and Amateur Golfers Alliance.
