About this course:
Ozarks National at Big Cedar Lodge is a nature-forward course in the Ozarks, designed by Coore & Crenshaw with a clear respect for conservation. Built as a complement to the 18-hole championship course at Buffalo Ridge, it places course management at the center of the round, with strategic risk-reward decisions, native areas, deep sand bunkering, and elevation changes shaping each shot.
From tee to green, golfers face elevated greens, wind, and a wide variety of hole layouts, including ridgetops, uphill approaches, and dramatic carries over native terrain. An iconic clubhouse built from an 1800s log cabin adds character, while the practice facility includes two putting greens, a three-green short game area with sand bunkers, and a driving range with zoysia grass.
