About this course:
Club De Campo La Zagaleta is a private 36-hole golf club in Marbella’s La Zagaleta, set among Mediterranean forests with scenic views of the Alborán Sea, Africa and Gibraltar. Its Old Course and New Course combine a parkland character with a thoughtful risk-and-reward layout, where doglegs turn both left and right and accurate tee shots are key to creating chances on small, undulated greens. The courses are not especially long, but they ask for strategy, precision and composed decision-making throughout the round. The Old Course was designed by Bradford Benz in 1991 and later redesigned by Marc Westenborg in 2016. Opened in 2005, the New Course was co-designed by Jonathan Gaunt and Steve Marnoch and provides a private par 70 challenge in a tranquil setting.
