West Elm Street 1016, 68467 York
York Country Club is an 18-hole golf course in Nebraska with a rich tradition, founded in 1919. The original front nine was laid out by Charles Johnston and remained largely intact until a redesign and green renovation in 1963. The back nine was designed by Jim Engh and opened in 1988. The course demands precise and strategic play, featuring elevation changes and various hazards such as creeks, bunkers, out of bounds, and challenging sloping greens. With a men's par of 70 and a women's par of 74, York Country Club offers a round that feels both challenging and fair. The well-defended greens make every attack on the flag worthwhile, even on holes that seem playable on paper.
