500 Country Club Drive, Yakima, WA 98901-1599
Yakima Country Club is an 18-hole golf course with a characteristic landscape on the east side of Yakima. The course covers 117 acres and offers wide views over the Yakima Valley, with Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainier in the background. Between the fairways, apple orchards, vineyards, ponds, and trees over 100 years old create a varied and atmospheric playing environment. The club was founded in 1916 and expanded in 1953 with a second 9-hole section. With four tees per hole, golfers of different levels can play suitably and challenge themselves. Yakima Country Club also features a driving range with grass tees and flight balls, an extensive short game area with grass and sand bunkers, three practice greens, and a putting green. Tournaments such as the Ladies Trans National 2015 and the Appleknocker Invitational have given the club a clear place in golf history.
