Branthwaite Road, CA14 4SS Workington
Workington Golf Club, founded in 1893, is located on the edge of the Lake District near Keswick. This 18-hole parkland course, designed by James Braid, plays as a challenging par 72. During your round, enjoy beautiful views over the Solway Firth towards Scotland, with the Cumbrian Fells in the background. The course demands accuracy from tee to green. Doglegs, bunkers, holes with out of bounds, and a water hazard keep the challenge high, while the greens' slopes and swales emphasize the importance of a good approach shot and precise putting. The clubhouse, accessible to members and non-members alike, also contributes to a relaxed golf day.
