About this course:

Weymouth Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course in Weymouth's center, designed by James Braid and opened in 1909. The course demands thoughtful play with strategic layout and subtle doglegs left and right. From the fairways, you overlook the Dorset landscape and Jurassic Coast, adding character to the round. It plays par 70 for men and par 71 for women, known for fast greens and wind, offering a challenge for all levels. The club atmosphere is friendly and informal, with a well-stocked bar, comfortable seating, and home-prepared seasonal meals. A putting green is available for practice.

Strict: clear club rules, such as a collar, no jeans and proper golf shoes. Golf attire: normal golf clothing is expected, but not overly formal. Casual: neat and practical is enough; clothing rules are light. Unknown: we have not confirmed this reliably yet. On the course (including practice areas and facilities), smart golfing attire with shoes is expected at all times. Not allowed: traditional blue denim, slogan t-shirts, sleeveless or collarless men's clothing, shorts to mid-thigh, and ladies' sun tops/vests; shorts not meeting specifications. Improperly dressed players may be asked to leave.
