About this course:
Wallsend Golf Course Centurion Park in Wallsend, near Newcastle upon Tyne, is undergoing major redevelopment. The course is being redesigned, with extensive drainage including ditches, reed beds, and water outlets to improve surface water runoff and playability in varying conditions. A new entrance, clubhouse, and driving range near Coast Road at West Street are planned, enhancing facilities and course condition, reopening in spring 2026.
