28 Woodthorpe Lane, Wakefield, WF2 6JH
Wakefield Golf Club is one of Yorkshire's oldest private clubs, founded in 1891. The 18-hole, par 72 course, designed by Sandy Herd, features two loops of 9 holes each starting and ending at the clubhouse. With bunkers by Dr. Alister MacKenzie and emphasis on precise, controlled play, it offers a challenging experience for all levels. The course is known for excellent maintenance and green quality during the season. After play, enjoy a warm welcome in the traditional clubhouse with lounge and dining room overlooking the course, perfect for relaxing with a drink or meal.
