N. Virginia Road 4602, 90807 Long Beach
Virginia Country Club is a historic golf course with a strong members-course atmosphere, founded in 1909. The current layout was mainly shaped during the American Golden Age of Design by A.W. Tillinghast and William P. Bell, with Willie Watson involved in the routing when moving to the current location. The course is not long but demands smart and precise play. Small greens, varied terrain, and natural elevation changes make every shot and approach a serious test. Throughout the course, natural contours and many up, down, and crossing moments create a strong shot-maker's feel. The clubhouse dates from around 1921, and the club breathes more than a century of golf tradition, hospitality, and camaraderie.
