1110 Beach Drive, Victoria, BC, V8S 2M9
Victoria Golf Club, founded in 1893, is a historic links-style course on Vancouver Island's south side. The traditional 18-hole layout evolved from 14 holes in 1895 to its current routing completed in the mid-1920s. With five holes along the Strait of Juan de Fuca and frequent ocean views, the sea breeze plays a clear role in play. The course demands feel, patience, and precision, especially as conditions vary daily. After the round, the clubhouse, completed in 1928 and registered as a Canadian Historic Place, offers a stylish conclusion to a course with a long history and distinct coastal character.
